Job summary

3D Personnel LTD is seeking a Ground Worker for a construction project in Scotland. You will dig trenches, clear the site, assist with foundations, and help prepare ground for the building team. The role requires a valid CSCS card and prior site experience, with full PPE provided as standard.

You will work on-site with the construction crew, performing demolition or site clearance as needed and ensuring safety standards are consistently followed. Weekly payroll is offered through the agency.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card.
• Must have previous experience working as a ground worker on construction site.
• Must be hard working and driven.
• Must have valid ID/Passport.
• Must have full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots).

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches and perform excavation work on site.
• Use shovels and other hand tools as required.
• Clear the site by removing topsoil and debris that could affect construction.
• Assist with landscaping and site clearance activities.
• Remove old drainage or pipework as needed for site prep.
• Support any required demolition to enable further work.
• Prepare ground for foundations and layout work by the building team.
• Set up and maintain the construction site, ensuring order and safety.
• Lay pavement, driveways and kerbs as directed by site managers.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and to specs.
• Follow safety guidelines and keep the work area clean at all times.
• Perform duties on site as instructed by the site management team.
• Comply with industry health and safety standards.

3D Personnel are currently looking for a Ground Worker for a construction project in Coalsnaughton.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

• Digging trenches and excavation
• Using shovels and other hand tools
• Clearing the site by removing the topsoil and anything that can affect the construction process
• Landscaping the site
• Clearing the construction site of vegetation or carrying out any other site clearance
• Removing old drainage or other pipework systems
• Leading any necessary demolition required to enable site work
• Preparing the ground for the building team to lay the foundations
• Setting up the construction site
• Laying pavement, driveways and kerbs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications
• Following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work area
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team
• Conduct work according to industry health and safety standards
