Job summary

3D Personnel are currently looking for a Ground Worker for a construction project in Burridge, Southampton. The role involves operating the Forward Tipping Dumper, digging trenches, hand-tool work, site clearance, and preparing groundwork for foundations.

Applicants must hold a valid CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket and a valid driving licence, with prior ground work experience. PPE is required, and the role offers weekly payroll and dedicated support from 3D Personnel.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CPCS or NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper Ticket.
• Must have a valid Driving Licence.
• Must have previous experience as ground worker on construction site.
• Must be hard working and driven.
• Must have valid ID/Passport.
• Must have full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, safety boots).

Responsibilities

• Operating the Forward Tipping Dumper on site.
• Digging trenches and excavation.
• Using shovels and other hand tools.
• Clearing the site by removing the topsoil and anything that can affect the construction process.
• Landscaping the site.
• Clearing the construction site of vegetation or carrying out any other site clearance.
• Removing old drainage or other pipework systems.
• Leading any necessary demolition to enable site work.
• Preparing the ground for the building team to lay the foundations.
• Setting up the construction site.
• Laying pavement, driveways and kerbs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications.
• Following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work area.
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team.
• Conduct work according to industry health and safety standards
