Job summary

3D Personnel LTD in Newtongrange is seeking a Ground Worker for a construction project. You will dig trenches, clear the site, lay pavement and kerbs, and collaborate with the team to meet safety standards and project specs.

The role requires a valid CSCS card, prior ground-working on site, hard work, a valid ID, and full PPE. You will be paid weekly under PAYE Umbrella, with dedicated support from 3D Personnel.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card.
• Must have previous experience working as a ground worker on construction site.
• Must be hard working and driven.
• Must have valid ID/Passport.
• Must have full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots).

Responsibilities

• Digging trenches and excavation.
• Using shovels and other hand tools.
• Clearing the site by removing the topsoil and anything that can affect the construction process.
• Landscaping the site.
• Clearing the construction site of vegetation or carrying out any other site clearance.
• Removing old drainage or other pipework systems.
• Leading any necessary demolition required to enable site work.
• Preparing the ground for the building team to lay the foundations.
• Setting up the construction site.
• Laying pavement, driveways and kerbs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications.
• Following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work area.
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team.
• Conduct work according to industry health and safety standards
