Job summary

Reliable Contractors LTD is seeking a Groundworker for the Teesside Net Zero Project in Redcar. You will perform concrete-related tasks, follow site instructions and strictly adhere to health and safety rules on a major UK infrastructure site.

The role offers long-term, full-time work with PAYE payment, 31 days of paid holidays (including bank holidays), and opportunities for training and upskilling. Start date is to be confirmed, with ongoing assignment duration.

Qualifications

• CSCS Green Card or working toward a Blue Card
• IPAF
• PASMA
• Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Full understanding of duties required for construction works
• Good understanding of concrete associated work
• Capability to work to instruction with minimal explanation

Longterm work available for the right candidates with the correct cards and tickets who want a stable long-term job for the foreseeable future on one of the UK's biggest infrastructure projects

Assignment Details

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Payment Basis: PAYE
• Paid Holidays: 31 days per year (including bank holidays)
• Start Date: TBC
• Assignment Duration: Ongoing
• Location: Redcar, TS10 5QW

Role and Responsibilities

• Full understanding of duties required for construction works

Shifts

• Working Days: Monday - Friday
• Shift Times: 07:00 - 17:00
• Shift Pattern: Day Shifts

Overtime

• Monday to Friday: Time and a Third
• Nights: Time and a Third
• Weekends: Time and a Half

Health and Safety Risks

The successful candidate will be expected to promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring site rules and procedures are followed.

• Moving Plant and Vehicles: Follow site traffic management procedures
• Excavations and Uneven Ground: Follow site procedures and use designated access routes
• Manual Handling: Use safe lifting techniques

All site-specific risks and control measures must be confirmed through the project RAMS, risk assessments and site induction.
