Job summary

Reliable Contractors Limited is seeking a Multi Skilled Operative with Plant Tickets for a large infrastructure project in Redcar, TS10 5QW. This is long-term, full-time work on site with day shifts supporting groundworks and drainage tasks on site.

You will carry out plant and groundworks, assist chargehands, and follow site safety procedures. Applicants should hold CSCS Blue and CPCS Plant Operative cards, with relevant drainage, concrete and kerbing experience.

Qualifications

• CPCS Plant Operative Card
• Good understanding of general construction works

• Manual handling

Multi Skilled Operative with Plant Tickets - Redcar, TS10 5QW

Assignment Details

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Payment Basis: PAYE
• Paid Holidays: 31 days per year (including bank holidays)
• Start Date: Start Date TBC
• Assignment Duration: Ongoing
• Location: Redcar, TS10 5QW

Must Have

Role and Responsibilities

• Carry out a range of plant and groundworks activities
• Support Chargehands and other tradespeople
• Follow instructions clearly
• Follow all site health and safety procedures

Shifts

• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Shift times: 07:00 - 17:00
• Shift Pattern: Day Shifts

Overtime

• Monday to Friday: Time and a third
• Weekends: Time and a half

Health and Safety Risks

The successful candidate will be expected to promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring site rules and procedures are followed.

Key risks associated with the role include:

• Moving plant and vehicles: Follow site traffic management procedures and maintain safe segregation.
• Groundworks and uneven ground: Follow site instructions and use designated access routes.
• Manual handling: Use safe lifting techniques and appropriate equipment.
• Working at height: Follow approved procedures and use suitable fall protection where required.
• Slips, trips and falls: Keep work areas and access routes safe and tidy.

All site-specific risks and control measures must be confirmed through the project RAMS, risk assessments and site induction.
