Job summary

ITS Building People are recruiting an experienced Groundworker for a project based in Wareham, Dorset. Work hours are 07:30–16:30, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay and overtime opportunities. The successful candidate will join a respected contractor/developer with potential further contracts or permanent opportunities.

Must have CSCS/CPCS/NPORS where applicable; CSCS is essential. Experience in civils/infrastructure and storm tanks is preferred, with PPE and reliable, punctual teamwork a must.

Qualifications

• CSCS/CPCS/NPORS cards are required or preferred.
• SSSTS qualification is preferred.
• Dumper Driver Ticket is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out groundworks on site for a Wareham project.
• Work safely on civil/infrastructure tasks and assist the team when required.

About the Role

ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker on behalf of our client for a project based in Wareham, Dorset.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected contractor/developer. Successful candidates may be considered for further assignments through ITS Building People following completion of the project.

Must Have:

• CSCS Card
• SSSTS (Preferred)
• Dumper Driver Ticket
• Civils/infrastructure experience
• Experience building storm tanks (preferred)

Requirements

• Valid CSCS/CPCS/NPORS Card but not always required
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Own PPE (Hard Hat, Hi-Vis and Safety Boots)
• Relevant tools/equipment where required
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred (Not Essential)

• Traffic Marshal
• Asbestos Awareness
• Relevant Trade Qualification

Training / Progression Opportunities
