Job summary

3D Personnel LTD is seeking a Ground Worker for a construction project in Sompting, West Sussex. You will perform trenching, site clearance, landscaping, and groundwork preparation to support the building team.

Requirements include a valid CSCS card, prior site experience, ID, and full PPE. The role features weekly payroll and dedicated staff, with PAYE Umbrella and CIS pay options available where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card.
• Must have previous experience working as a ground worker on construction site.
• Must be hard working and driven.
• Must have valid ID/Passport.
• Must have full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots).

Responsibilities

• Digging trenches and excavation.
• Using shovels and other hand tools.
• Clearing the site by removing the topsoil and anything that can affect the construction process.
• Landscaping the site.
• Clearing the construction site of vegetation or carrying out any other site clearance.
• Removing old drainage or other pipework systems.
• Leading any necessary demolition required to enable site work.
• Preparing the ground for the building team to lay the foundations.
• Setting up the construction site.
• Laying pavement, driveways and kerbs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications.
• Following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work area.
• Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team.
• Conduct work according to industry health and safety standards
