Job summary

ITS Building People are seeking an experienced Groundworker for a project in Weymouth, Dorset. Immediate start with ongoing work. The candidate will join a respected contractor and may be considered for future opportunities through ITS Building People after project completion.

Requirements include a CSCS card (SSSTS preferred), a Dumper Driver Ticket, and civils/infrastructure experience. PPE and own tools are expected, with reliable and punctual performance encouraged.

• Experience in civils/infrastructure projects is essential.
• Dumper Driver Ticket adds advantage.
• Experience building storm tanks is preferred.

About the Role

ITS Building People are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker on behalf of our client for a project based in Weymouth, Dorset.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected contractor/developer. Successful candidates may be considered for further assignments through ITS Building People following completion of the project.

Must Have

• CSCS Card
• SSSTS (Preferred)
• Dumper Driver Ticket
• Civils/infrastructure experience
• Experience building storm tanks (preferred)

Requirements

• Valid [CSCS/CPCS/NPORS] Card but not always required
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Own PPE (Hard Hat, Hi-Vis and Safety Boots)
• Relevant tools/equipment where required
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred (Not Essential)

• Traffic Marshal
• Asbestos Awareness
• Relevant Trade Qualification

Training / Progression Opportunities
