Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to deliver a range of grounds maintenance services and identify areas for improvement. The role includes managing pest and tree hazards and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Working hours are set: 07:30 – 16:30, Monday to Thursday, 07:30 – 12:30 on Friday, with a 37-hour week. You will prioritize tasks to meet operational needs, oversee contractors on site, and participate in an on‑call rota during adverse weather

• Experience delivering a range of grounds maintenance services.
• Ability to prioritise workloads effectively to meet operational needs.
• Experience applying health, safety and environmental procedures in daily work.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rota and support site access during adverse weather.
• Experience overseeing contractors and monitoring delivery of allocated tasks.

Rate of Pay: £13.45 per hour PAYE (37 hours per week)

Set working times are:
07:30 - 16:30, Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 12:30, Friday

Essential experience of the Grounds Maintenance Operative:

• Experience delivering a range of grounds maintenance services including general upkeep and specialist tasks
• Ability to prioritise workloads effectively to meet operational and business needs
• Experience applying health, safety and environmental procedures in daily work
• Ability to participate in an on‑call rota and support site access during adverse weather
• Experience overseeing contractors and monitoring delivery of allocated tasks
• Full UK Driving License
