Job summary

Mitie Group plc in Buxton is seeking a Grounds Support to maintain grass and hedge areas, clear leaves, spray where appropriate, and help keep outdoor spaces tidy.

This permanent, full-time role offers 8 hours per week with shifts on Monday and Thursday, 4 hours each. A full UK driving licence is preferred for roles involving company vehicles, and a PA I & PA6 spraying licence is a plus.

• Grounds maintenance experience desirable but not essential
• PAI & PA6 spraying license is a plus

Responsibilities

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking
• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively
• Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation
• Report site hazards and relevant information to management
• Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 08 hours

Shift Pattern: Monday and Thursday 4 hours for each shift.

Location: HSE Buxton, Harpur Hill, Buxton, Derbyshire, England, SK17 9JN
