Urban Planters is seeking an Exterior Maintenance Technician to work on-site in Chester, delivering high standards of exterior garden care. You will operate a range of horticultural equipment, cut grass, prune shrubs, and keep digital records via a mobile app while liaising with clients.

You should have a full UK driving licence and garden maintenance experience, with good communication skills and a willingness to work as part of a team. Arabia

Position: Exterior Maintenance Technician

Location:Chester into Shropshire

Contract: Full Time 40 hours per week, Permanent

Salary: Basic salary £26,700 per annum (40hr Week)

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Exterior Maintenance Technician, you will work on site ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing exterior customer base.

Your main duties will include:

• Grass cutting and strimming
• Shrub pruning, plant care and hedge cutting

• Liaising with customers
• Autumn clearing
• Spring preparation
• Mowing
• Heavy lifting will be required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Full UK drivers licence
• Garden maintenance experience is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential

As part of your role, you will be required to;

• Always act in a professional manner as a representative of the organisation.
• Comply with all relevant health and safety requirements
• Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
• Initiate suggestions to improve the organisations performance
• Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
