Urban Planters on site in the Chester/Shropshire region seeks an Exterior Maintenance Technician to support our exterior planting services and maintain client grounds.

You will join a friendly team, perform mowing, trimming, pruning, weed control, and seasonal works while ensuring safety and high service standards. A valid UK driving licence and prior garden maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Garden maintenance experience is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous.
• A horticulture qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting and strimming.
• Shrub pruning, plant care and hedge cutting.
• Weed maintenance.
• Using a range of powered and non-powered horticulture equipment.
• Complete all digital records required through smartphone app.
• Liaising with customers.
• Autumn clearing.
• Spring preparation.
• Mowing.
• Heavy lifting will be required.

Position: Exterior Maintenance Technician

Location:Chester into Shropshire

Contract: Full Time 40 hours per week, Permanent

Salary: Basic salary £26,700 per annum (40hr Week)

Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as a Exterior Maintenance Technician, you will work on site ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing exterior customer base.
