Job summary

PPM Recruitment is recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader for a Bristol area client. You will lead a small team (2–3 operatives) on sites including schools and business parks, performing hedge cutting, strimming, mowing, weed control and other grounds duties. The role starts immediately and is a permanent post after probation.

Full driving licence is essential; PA1/PA6 desirable. Overtime paid after 3.30pm; overtime rate 1.5x; pension scheme and annual staff day out.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial grounds maintenance.
• PA1/PA6 desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

Garden maintenanceteam leaders isrequired by one of theareasleading Horticulture and Grounds maintenance specialists for an immediatestart.

The duties will be being a charge hand leading team of 2/3 operatives andto carry out duties such asHedge cutting, strimming, using pedestrian mowers and ride on,grass cutting/maintenance,weed control and all general grounds maintenance duties.

Experienceand a drivers license is essential

We require candidates to have good experience and knowledge of the industry

PA1/PA6 is also strongly desired but not essential.

Our client works on sites such as schools,business parks, industrial estates and housing developments

The role will be made permanent after a 3 month probation if all goes well. Some of the benefits if you go permanent are are £13.19ph + overtime after 3.30pm,company bonus scheme and pension scheme.Our clientalso have at least one annual staff day out. For example a summer party for staff and their families.

There is plenty of opportunity for overtime which is paid at 1.5 times hourly rate

We are looking for candidates withgood experience in commercial grounds maintenance
