Job summary

Professional Personnel Management Ltd seeks a Garden Maintenance Team Leader to head a small crew on various sites. You will oversee hedge cutting, strimming, mowing and weed control, ensuring high standards of grounds maintenance.

Experience in commercial grounds work is essential; a driving license is required. The role includes a 3-month probation with permanent status and benefits such as a company bonus and pension after confirmation.

Qualifications

• Experience in garden/grounds maintenance required.
• 3-month probation period before permanent contract.
• PA1/PA6 is strongly desired but not essential.

Job description

Garden maintenance team leaders is required by one of the areas leading Horticulture and Grounds maintenance specialists for an immediate start.

The duties will be being a charge hand leading team of 2/3 operatives and to carry out duties such as Hedge cutting, strimming, using pedestrian mowers and ride on, grass cutting/maintenance, weed control and all general grounds maintenance duties.

Experience and a drivers license is essential

We require candidates to have good experience and knowledge of the industry

PA1/PA6 is also strongly desired but not essential.

Our client works on sites such as schools, business parks, industrial estates and housing developments

The role will be made permanent after a 3 month probation if all goes well. Some of the benefits if you go permanent are are £13.19ph + overtime after 3.30pm, company bonus scheme and pension scheme. Our client also have at least one annual staff day out. For example a summer party for staff and their families.

There is plenty of opportunity for overtime which is paid at 1.5 times hourly rate
