Job summary

Niyaa People is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative in Bristol to join an established housing provider. Immediate start with a minimum of one month, potential extension, and you will work in a two-person team to maintain communal outdoor areas.

Ideal candidates will have grounds maintenance experience and a full UK driving licence; PA1/PA6 are desirable. The depot-based role requires reliable travel each morning in the South Bristol area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance or gardening.
• A full UK driving licence.
• PA1/PA6 qualifications (desirable but not essential).
• The ability to travel reliably to the depot each morning.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out hedge cutting and general grounds maintenance.
• Raking and clearing leaves from outdoor spaces.
• Maintaining shrubs and planted areas.
• Completing planting and pruning tasks.
• Working in teams of two to maintain communal outdoor areas.

You’ll be working for a major housing provider in the South Bristol area, helping to maintain outdoor spaces and communal grounds. This is an organisation where you’ll be valued for your contribution, working alongside a supportive team in your role as a Grounds Maintenance Operative.

Location & travel
