HL Services is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader in Enfield to manage a two-person crew across commercial sites, residential blocks and schools. You will ensure high-quality workmanship and maintain strict health and safety standards.
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a 7:00am yard start. Salary is £35,000 per annum, with opportunities for career progression within the team.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Team Leader to join a well-established grounds maintenance contractor based in Enfield.

As a Grounds Maintenance Team Leader, you will lead a team of two operatives, carrying out grounds maintenance across a variety of sites, including:
Commercial properties
Residential flats
Schools
Large housing estates
You will be responsible for ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while maintaining excellent health and safety practices.
Leading and supervising a two-person grounds maintenance team.
Driving the company vehicle between sites.
Grass cutting, strimming, hedge trimming, and pruning.
Weed control and general horticultural maintenance.
Ensuring work is completed efficiently and to specification.
Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks.
Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Previous experience in grounds maintenance.
Experience leading or supervising a team.
A full UK driving licence (essential).
PA1 and PA6 certificates are desirable but not essential.
Good communication and organisational skills.
A reliable and proactive approach to work.
The ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Salary of £35,000 per annum.
Monday to Friday working pattern – no regular weekends.
