Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative for a mobile round covering schools across Maidstone. The role is temporary to permanent with an immediate start, paying £13.50 per hour and Monday to Friday hours.

You will perform grass cutting, hedge maintenance, weeding and general grounds upkeep, travelling between sites and ensuring high standards while working both independently and as part of a team.

The Role

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining school grounds to a high standard across a mobile route.

Duties will include:

• Grass cutting and strimming
• Hedge and shrub maintenance
• Weeding and general grounds upkeep
• Litter picking and maintaining tidy outdoor areas
• Using grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively
• Carrying out general landscaping and horticultural duties as required
• Travelling between schools across the Maidstone area
• Working as part of a team while also managing tasks independently
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard

Requirements
