Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative for a mobile round covering schools across Maidstone. The role is temporary to permanent with an immediate start, paying £13.50 per hour and Monday to Friday hours.

You will perform grass cutting, hedge maintenance, weeding and general grounds upkeep, travelling between sites and ensuring high standards while working both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping or gardening.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• A professional and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain school grounds to a high standard across a mobile route.
• Grass cutting and strimming.
• Hedge and shrub maintenance.
• Weeding and general grounds upkeep.
• Litter picking and tidying outdoor areas.
• Use of grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
• Travel between Maidstone-area schools.
• Work as part of a team and also independently.
