Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited seeks a Grounds Maintenance Operative to maintain outdoor spaces across residential estates in Portsmouth. The role covers mowing lawns, hedge trimming, planting and weeding on new builds, extra care sites and sheltered accommodation.

The position is temp-to-perm, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A full UK driving licence is required and travel to Portsmouth, Gosport, Havant and Southampton is expected.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence held for a minimum of 1 year.
• Experience in using gardening power tools.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles and transport plant, machinery and equipment.
• Maintain grounds: grass cutting, debris clearance, leaves, litter, hedge/shrub trimming.
• Use gardening equipment, powered hand tools and ride-on machinery.
• Perform basic flower bed maintenance.
• Spread salt and grit to keep pathways safe.
• Maintain vehicles and gardening machinery.
