Job summary

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Soft Facilities Management Division in Portsmouth. Working externally across residential estates, you will maintain the general landscape, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting and weeding.

This is a temp-to-perm role, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with travel to Portsmouth, Gosport, Havant and Southampton. We value a customer-focused approach and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Full driving license held for a minimum of 1 year.
• Experience in using gardening power tools.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicles and transporting plant, machinery and equipment.
• General maintenance of grounds (grass cutting, debris, leaves, litter, hedge trimming).
• Use of gardening equipment and ride-on machinery.
• Basic flower bed maintenance and salt/grit spreading to keep paths safe.

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Soft Facilities Management Division in Portsmouth. Working externally across residential estates, you will play an important role in maintaining the general landscape. Including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting and weeding in new builds, extra care sites and sheltered accommodation.

Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.

This is a temp to perm role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. A full UK Driving Licence is required. Travel is required to Portsmouth, Gosport, Havant and Southampton.

• Basic flower bed maintenance. Salt and grit spreading to ensure pathways are safe. Maintenance of vehicles and gardening machinery

Key requirements:

• Full driving license held for a minimum of 1 year
• Experience in using gardening power tools
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
