Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative for Templepatrick, Northern Ireland. You will join a team responsible for grass cutting, hedge and shrub maintenance, litter picking and related horticultural duties on local grounds.

You will operate ride-on and pedestrian mowers, carry out pruning, weeding and border maintenance, and ensure safety while working outdoors in all weather. A full UK driving licence and B+E towing may be required as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Previous Grounds Maintenance working experience.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Reliable with a can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• A full UK driving licence & B+E (towing trailers) is required; PA1/PA6 licences are an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting and general grounds maintenance.
• Operate ride-on and pedestrian mowers; perform strimming, pruning and weeding.
• Litter picking and shrub/border maintenance; assist with related horticultural duties.

Salary: GBP12.71 - GBP12.71 per hour

Location: Templepatrick, Northern Ireland
Hourly Rate: £12.71-£13.03
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Working Hours: Mon-Fri between 07:00-17:00, 40 hours annualised (45 hours per week in season, 35 hours in winter period)

About the role

We currently require Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team in Templepatrick. You will keep several local grounds in a wonderful condition for our clients through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties.
