Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in Warrington, Cheshire, is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to deliver high-quality outdoor space maintenance in line with SLA standards. The role is permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £13.45.

You will carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying and litter picking, operate hand tools and machinery safely, and support winter services.

Hourly Rate of Pay: £ 13.45

Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 40 hours

Location: Warrington, Cheshire, Englan, WA2 7TT

Requirement: Full UK Driving License

Role Responsibilities

• Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking
• Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively

What We're Looking For

• Passion for working outdoors in agile and flexible environments
• Good understanding of smartphone technology
• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential
• PAI & PA6 spraying license is a plus
• Full UK driving license preferred for roles involving company vehicles
