Position: Grounds Maintenance Operative

Location: Kettering

Salary: £12.80 per hour (increasing to £13.30 after 2 weeks)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:00

Please note - A full Clean UK Driving Licence to be considered for this position.

About the Role:

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the upkeep and enhancement of various outdoor spaces. Your role will involve hedge cutting, strimming, and operating ride-on mowers to ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest standards.



Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hedge cutting, strimming, and ride-on mowing tasks.

• Maintain new build estates, schools, nurseries, commercial offices, and warehouses.

• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes.

• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

• Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly.

• Assist with other grounds maintenance tasks as required.



Requirements:



Essential:

• Proven experience in hedge cutting, strimming, and ride-on mowing.

• Full Clean UK Driving Licence.

• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Good communication skills.



Desirable:

• PA1/PA6 certification.

• Experience working in a similar role within various environments.
