Mitie Landscapes has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at the UK's market leading FM company. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be delivering grounds maintenance and winter services for our clients' sites.
Main duties include grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, litter picking, and using hand tools and horticultural machinery to maintain high standards. During winter, additional services like gritting, snow clearing, and Christmas tree installation are required. You will also report hazards, operate vehicles and machinery safely, and undertake training as needed.
Ideal candidates are passionate about outdoor work and comfortable with flexible environments and smartphone technology. Experience in grounds maintenance is preferred but not essential. A PAI & PA6 spraying license and a full driving license are advantageous, as some roles involve vehicle use.
