Grounds Maintenance Operative

Shift Times: 07:30-16:00 Monday - Friday (42.5 HPW)

Pay Rate: £12.21ph

Location: HP19 8RS - Aylesbury

This is a temporary position until September for the summer season.

Manpower are looking for Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work for our client based out of Aylesbury. Working in this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality grounds maintenance services to various clients throughout the area. Responsibilities include grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, and more. You will need to ensure a safe working environment and carry out safety checks on equipment.

The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practices.

To succeed, you will need:

• To be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Hold a full valid UK Driving License.
• Willingness to learn and be open to training.
• A safety-conscious mindset.
• Ability to work safely with equipment and hand tools (e.g., strimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers).
• Experience working in a busy team and providing high-quality service.
• Experience in a similar grounds maintenance role is desirable.
