Grounds Maintenance Operative

Shift Times:

07:30-16:00, Monday - Friday (42.5 hours per week)

Pay Rate:

£12.21 per hour

Location:

HP19 8RS - Aylesbury

This is a temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Manpower is seeking Grounds Maintenance Operatives to work for our client based in Aylesbury. In this role, you will deliver high-quality grounds maintenance services to various clients in the local area. Working within a team, your responsibilities will include grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, and flower bed maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Operate equipment such as strimmers, backpack blowers, and push mowers safely.

Training and Requirements:

• On-the-job training and induction for best practices will be provided.
• Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Hold a full valid UK Driving License.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training.
• Safety-conscious mindset.
• Experience working with equipment and hand tools.
• Experience in a similar grounds maintenance role is desirable.
