Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd in High Wycombe is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The role involves grass cutting with ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimming, pruning, weeding, and general horticultural duties to keep client grounds tidy. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:30.

A valid UK driving licence and outdoor physical fitness are essential. PA1/PA6 licences are a plus.

Job description

This temporary Grounds Maintenance Operative role in High Wycombe offers up to £12.71 per hour, with potential for permanent placement. Working Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 16:30, the successful candidate maintains local grounds to a high standard. Duties include grass cutting with ride-on and pedestrian mowers, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border care, plus litter collection and related horticultural tasks. Applicants need prior grounds maintenance experience, a full valid UK driving licence, and physical fitness for outdoor work in all conditions. The position suits someone reliable who takes pride in keeping green spaces tidy and presentable for clients throughout the area. About the role

We currently require a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in High Wycombe. You will keep several local grounds in a wonderful condition for our clients through grass cutting; using a ride on and pedestrian mower, strimming, pruning, weeding, shrub and border maintenance, litter picking and any other related horticultural duties.
