Job summary

Pinnacle Group is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Soft Facilities Management Division in Chichester. You will be responsible for external grounds maintenance across residential estates, including mowing lawns, hedge trimming, planting and weeding, ensuring clean, safe, and well-presented environments.

The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a full UK driving license required due to the mobile nature of the work.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license held for a minimum of 1 year.
• Experience in using gardening power tools.
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicles and transporting plant, machinery and equipment.
• General maintenance of grounds (grass cutting, debris removal, leaves, litter, hedge and shrub trimming).
• Use of gardening equipment, powered hand tools and ride-on machinery.
• Basic flower bed maintenance.
• Salt and grit spreading to ensure pathways are safe.
• Maintenance of vehicles and gardening machinery.

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Soft Facilities Management Division in Chichester. Working externally across residential estates, you will play an important role in maintaining the general landscape. Including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting and weeding in new builds, extra care sites and sheltered accommodation.

Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities.We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.

This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

A full UK Driving License is required due to the mobile nature of the role.
