Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited in Nottingham is seeking a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep outdoor spaces well-kept and visually appealing.

You will join a Grounds Maintenance team based in Nottingham and travel to sites across Nottinghamshire, mowing lawns, trimming hedges and planting.

A full driving licence is required; you must have your own transport to reach the Cockliffe yard, and you should be physically fit with a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or landscape upkeep.
• Full driving licence.
• Ability to travel to sites across Nottinghamshire.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Pinnacle Group are looking for a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. You will be joining our Grounds Maintenance teams who are based in Nottingham and travelling to sites across Nottinghamshire.

Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.. Your responsibilities will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting, weeding, and general landscape upkeep of housing sites (new builds, extra care sites and sheltered accommodation).

You will have a keen eye for detail, be physically fit, and possess a strong work ethic. If you are passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful, safe outdoor environments, we would love to hear from you.

Hours for the job will be working 7.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Please be aware, you must be able to get to the yard which is at Cockliffe Country house and a fairly rural location so you must have your own transport to get there each day.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Driving company vehicles and transporting plant, machinery and equipment
• General maintenance of grounds e.g. grass cutting, clearing of debris, leaves, litter, hedge and shrub trimming
• Use of gardening equipment, powered hand tools and ride on machinery
• Maintenance of vehicles and gardening machinery

Key requirements:

• Full driving licence
• Experience in using gardening power tools
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures.
• Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
