Job summary

Pinnacle Group Limited is hiring a Grounds Maintenance Operative to keep outdoor spaces well-maintained for communities, schools, and public bodies. You will join our Harrow/Hemel Hempstead team, performing lawn mowing, hedge trimming, planting, weeding, and general landscape upkeep with a strong focus on safety and customer care.

The role runs full-time, 7.30AM–3.30PM, Monday to Friday, with a valid UK driving licence required due to mobile duties across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in grounds maintenance or gardening roles.
• Able to operate basic gardening tools and equipment.
• Physically able to perform outdoor manual tasks.
• Commitment to health and safety best practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles and transport plant, machinery and equipment.
• Maintain grounds: grass cutting, debris clearance, leaves, litter, hedge and shrub trimming.
• Use gardening equipment, powered hand tools and ride-on machinery.
• Carry out basic flower bed maintenance.
• Spread salt and grit to keep pathways safe.

Job description

Pinnacle Group are looking for a diligent Grounds Maintenance Operative to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. You will be joining our Soft Facilities Management Grounds Maintenance teams who are based in the Harrow and Hemel Hempstead areas.

Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations - including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.

Your responsibilities will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting, weeding, and general landscape upkeep of site.

You will have a keen eye for detail, be physically fit, and possess a strong work ethic. If you are passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful, safe outdoor environments, we would love to hear from you.

This is a full time, permanent position working 7.30AM - 3.30PM, Monday - Friday.

Due to the mobile nature of this role a full UK driving license is required
