Job summary

Bruntwood is hiring a Facilities Team Member to cover a Manchester region, with a 40-hour week across Monday to Sunday. The role involves grounds maintenance, tasks across Valo, Lumina Village, and other local buildings, plus supporting the wider building team. A valid UK driving licence is required as an automatic van is provided.

You will maintain high presentation standards, assist with PPMs, safety checks and routine operations, and contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Institutional or practical maintenance experience is helpful but not required.
• Can-do attitude with enthusiasm and flexibility.
• Comfortable working in Manchester weather and seasons.
• Enjoys collaborative work and independent tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds to high presentation standards: mowing, weeding, litter picking.
• Support preventive maintenance: fire testing, water temp checks, emergency lighting, compliance, cleaning, repairs.
• Collaborate with Bruntwood building team and engage with customers.
• Be flexible to take on tasks as reasonably requested.
• Open/lock buildings as required.
• Perform regular building checks and inspections.
• Align activities with Bruntwood's Service Mission.
• Address health and safety concerns promptly; training provided.
