Job summary
Kemp Recruitment is seeking a Groundcare Service Technician to diagnose, repair and service groundcare machinery from Danbury, Essex. You will work in a close-knit team, maintaining high standards of safety and customer service while keeping accurate service records.
We require time-served engineers with experience in groundcare, agricultural or construction machinery, strong fault-finding skills, and a valid UK driving licence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with groundcare, agricultural or construction machinery.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Experience with modern electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems.
- Good customer service, IT and reporting skills.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Service and maintain groundcare and related machinery
- Use diagnostic tools, fault codes and machine software
- Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic systems
- Replace parts to manufacturer specifications
- Complete accurate digital service and repair reports
- Provide clear updates to managers, colleagues and customers
- Follow health & safety procedures and PPE requirements

We're looking for an experienced, time-served Service Engineer with:
- Proven experience with groundcare, agricultural or construction machinery
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience with modern electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems
- Good customer service, IT and reporting skills
- A practical, problem-solving approach and ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
- Company van and mobile phone
