Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking motivated Service Technicians/Engineers in Warwickshire for field and workshop work on agricultural, groundcare and commercial machinery.

You will service, diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of equipment, both at our workshop and on customer sites, ensuring safety and high-quality workmanship. A flexible, hands-on role with training and progression opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Technician or similar mechanical role.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Service Technician / Engineer

Location: Warwickshire (Field & Workshop Based)

An established and well-respected machinery dealership serving the agricultural, groundcare, and commercial equipment sectors is seeking experienced Service Technicians / Engineers to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for mechanically minded individuals who enjoy a varied role involving servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of a wide range of machinery, both in the workshop and at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on agricultural and groundcare machinery.
• Diagnose faults and undertake effective repairs.
• Complete pre-delivery inspections and machine preparation.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.
• Attend customer sites to provide breakdown and repair support when required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work undertaken.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Service Technician, Agricultural Engineer, Groundcare Engineer, Plant Engineer, HGV Technician, Vehicle Technician, or similar mechanical role.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work proactively and manage workloads effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
