Job summary

Premier Inn Barnstaple is seeking a Ground Floor Team Member to welcome guests, help them check in and ensure their stay runs smoothly.

You’ll serve breakfast or dinner, assist with bar service and be a friendly face throughout busy periods, including evenings and weekends. Training is provided to cover every part of the role.

No two shifts are the same, and you’ll be part of a team that supports each other to deliver great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required; friendly and helpful attitude is valued.
• Ability to stay calm in busy periods.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving alcoholic drinks
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure
