Jacobs offers a Summer Internship Programme in the UK and Ireland for eight weeks this summer. You’ll work in a hub office with geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists to apply classroom skills to real business challenges.

As a penultimate-year student finishing in 2028, you’ll receive personalised mentoring, build a professional network, and gain valuable experience within a global company that values safety, inclusion and belonging.

Qualifications

• On track to complete a degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering or Geology in 2028.
• Flexible and innovative self-starter who’s passionate about developing new skills.
• Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply your skills to real-world problems.
• Empathy and listening skills to understand client requirements.
• Well-rounded with diverse experiences; e.g., bar work, sports captain, volunteering.
• You must be available to join the 8-week programme starting 28th June 2027 – 20th August 2027.
• You must have the full right to work in the UK.
