Job summary

Sainsbury’s is hiring Home Delivery Drivers in Chippenham to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps, on time and in good condition. You’ll drive a 3.5 tonne van and perform checks to keep the van organised, clean and roadworthy.

When not delivering, you’ll help across the store as needed, provide excellent customer service, answer questions, suggest substitutions and learn about products and promotions.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 with full UK driving licence (12 months) and up to 6 points.
• Ability to learn products, services and promotions to provide recommendations.
• Willingness to help across store when not delivering.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition.
• Check vehicle cleanliness, roadworthiness and secure deliveries.
• Assist customers with questions and substitutions; communicate delays.
