Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to deliver groceries in a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, ensuring orders reach customers on time and in great condition. You’ll be the face of Sainsbury’s at every doorstep, providing friendly, professional service, handling checks, and supporting store activities when not delivering.

You’ll need a full UK/EU driving licence for 12+ months, with up to 6 points, and be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to drive a 3.5 tonne van safely.
• Comfortable with physical tasks and lifting up to 15kg.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers on time and in good condition.
• Provide friendly, helpful doorstep service and communicate delays or issues.
• Check van roadworthiness and keep shopping secure before departure.
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varying conditions.
• Assist in-store tasks when not delivering.
