Sainsbury's Group is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring groceries to customers’ doors with energy and care. You will drive a refrigerated van, perform safety and delivery checks, and keep customers informed throughout the journey.

As the primary link with customers, you’ll handle queries, manage route safety, and may assist in-store duties when not driving. The role supports inclusive, community-focused service in the UK.

Qualifications

• Over 18 with a full UK/EU driving licence held 12+ months and max 6 points.
• Able to move containers up to 15kg and carry groceries to customers.
• Excellent customer communication and problem solving.
• Right to Work in the UK.

Responsabilités

• Being the face of Sainsbury's at every doorstep you deliver to, making customers feel valued.
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van to deliver groceries on time and in good condition.
• Complete checks to ensure van roadworthiness, cleanliness and secure delivery.
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in various locations and conditions.
• Deliver shopping to customers, including steps or longer walks from the van.
• Communicate delays or changes to orders and answer customer queries.
• Occasionally help across the store when not out delivering.
