Job summary

Sainsbury's in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps with energy, warmth, and care. You will drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, complete checks, and follow planned routes to ensure on-time delivery.

When not delivering, you may assist across the store. You must have a valid UK driving licence for at least 12 months with <=6 points, and rights to work in the UK. We offer a range of benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (12+ months) with no more than 6 points
• Right to Work in the UK
• Online driving risk assessment during interview and driving assessment on joining
• Ability to move containers up to 15 kg and lift shopping items as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers' doorsteps in a timely, friendly, and helpful manner
• Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van and ensure goods arrive in great condition
• Complete vehicle checks and keep customers informed of any delays
• Follow planned routes and drive safely in varying conditions
• Assist in-store duties when not delivering
• Provide excellent doorstep service and customer care
