Job summary

Placr Recruitment is seeking an experienced Grill Chef for a part-time role at a busy restaurant in Hove. You will cook on the grill during busy services and help maintain a high standard of food quality.

The role offers part-time hours with the potential for additional hours, with a pay of £15 per hour. You will work in a friendly kitchen team and contribute to overall kitchen safety and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen/chef role.
• Confident grill operator during busy services.
• Good organisation and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Dependable, punctual and hardworking approach.
• Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Flexibility regarding working hours and additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to a high standard on the grill during busy services.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time and monitor portion control and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen while following hygiene and safety procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing and daily cleaning duties and communicate with the team.
