Job summary

Placrrecruitment Co is seeking a reliable Grill Chef for a part-time role in Hove. You will work on the grill in a busy restaurant, delivering high-quality meals and collaborating closely with the kitchen team.

The position starts part-time with the possibility of additional hours as the role develops. A relevant food hygiene qualification would be beneficial. £15 per hour, on-site work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality, portions and presentation.
• Support other kitchen team members as needed.
• Assist with opening/closing and cleaning duties.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard
• Confidently operating the grill during busy services
• Ensuring orders are prepared accurately and on time
• Completing food preparation before and during service
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and kitchen organisation
• Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures
• Monitoring food quality, portion control and presentation
• Supporting other members of the kitchen team when required
• Helping with opening, closing and cleaning dutiesCommunicating effectively with the wider restaurant team

About You
