Job summary

ib vogt GmbH is seeking a Grid Solutions Manager to lead the development and execution of grid infrastructure for utility-scale PV and BESS projects. You will coordinate engineers, external consultants and utilities, ensuring compliance with European NC RfG and UK grid connection standards.

The role requires 8+ years in grid connection or similar, strong project management, fluency in English, and practical knowledge of PowerFactory or PSS/E.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in electrical engineering, renewable energies or similar.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in grid connections for power plants.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong understanding of NC RfG and grid compliance codes.
• Experience with grid connections in UK and familiarity with TSO/DNO processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in worldwide energy projects from early phase to operation.
• Engineer and design grid connections for utility-scale PV/BESS plants.
• Coordinate external engineering consultants and sub-contractors.
• Specify and manage tendering of interconnection infrastructure projects.
• Engage with utilities and stakeholders for technical discussions.
• Ensure grid energization and handover to O&M teams.
