Job summary

Advance Grid Solutions (AGS) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to own the development and delivery of electrical engineering deliverables across AGS EPC and IPC projects in the UK, including BESS, solar PV, wind, and MV/HV substations. You will work with Project Management, Lead Engineering and Civils teams to align with programmes and budgets.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 3 years' experience, and proficiency in DIgSILENT, ELEK, AutoCAD, EPLAN and PV tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronic Engineering (BEng / MEng)
• Minimum 3 years' experience in electrical engineering design
• Experience on renewable energy projects (BESS, solar PV, wind) and MV/HV substations
• Experience with UK electrical standards and regulations
• Proficient in DIgSILENT PowerFactory, ELEK, AutoCAD, EPLAN, PVsyst, PVcase, PV SOL

Responsibilities

• Own development, coordination and delivery of electrical engineering deliverables for EPC and IPC projects
• Produce and check electrical design documentation (SLD, GA drawings, cable schedules, schematics, earthing layouts, reports)
• Coordinate with project management, lead engineering and civils teams
• Support grid connection and compliance processes
• Provide regular progress reporting
