Job summary

ib vogt is seeking a Grid Solutions Manager in the UK to lead the complex grid infrastructure for utility-scale PV plants and battery storage projects. You will drive engineering and design of grid connections, coordinate external consultants, and ensure timely handover to O&M, while aligning with global grid codes and market expansion.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, deep knowledge of energy technology, and strong communication with utilities and lenders.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in electrical engineering, renewable energies or similar focused on energy technology.
• 8+ years of relevant international experience in grid connections for PV/BESS scale.
• Strong understanding of European NC RfG and grid compliance codes.
• Proficient use of MS Office applications.
• English proficiency mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of grid connections for utility-scale PV/BESS plants.
• Coordinate external engineering consultants and third-party advisors.
• Ensure grid energization handover to O&M.
• Support development with technical expertise in new markets.
• Ensure compliance with grid code requirements (RfG, etc.).
• Prepare documentation for management, lenders and clients.
• Coordinate with utilities and stakeholders worldwide.
