Job summary

Hitachi Energy UK Limited in Stone, Staffordshire, is seeking a Service Sales Specialist to drive service sales for substation automation, control and protection, cyber security, and communications.

You will implement sales strategies, engage with the installed base, conduct sales calls, build long-term relationships, and translate customer needs into service offerings while travelling as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical disciplines or similar.
• Proven experience in sales, sales support, and/or service of power systems/solutions.
• Willingness and ability to travel to meet customers.

Responsibilities

• Implement the service sales strategy and growth plans, engaging with the installed base to promote upgrades and value-added solutions.
• Conduct sales calls, perform customer facility walk-throughs, generate sales leads, and develop new market opportunities based on market trends.
• Establish long-term customer relationships, understand requirements and regulations, demonstrate technical knowledge, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Sell the service product portfolio, monitor proposals and tenders, prepare service offerings, communicate contract details, and manage the administrative sales process.
