Job summary

Huntress in Glasgow seeks an experienced Governance, Risk & Compliance Officer to strengthen the organisation's compliance framework. You will support policy development, advise on whistleblowing/ conflicts of interest, and monitor regulatory adherence.

This role emphasises accuracy, governance, and teamwork in a dynamic environment. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement (2–3 days in the office) with additional remote days and a competitive salary of around £72,290 per year plus a 10%

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a corporate compliance or governance environment.
• Strong knowledge of compliance policies, whistleblowing and conflicts of interest.
• Excellent understanding of governance, risk and compliance principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder advice.
• Attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation and review of corporate compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance on policies including whistleblowing and conflicts of interest.
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify compliance risks and support controls implementation.
• Assist with compliance reviews, investigations and reporting.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and registers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to foster a culture of compliance.
• Keep up to date with legislation, regulations and best practice.
