Job summary

Norwich City Community Sports Foundation is seeking a Graphic Design Assistant (maternity cover) to support the creation of visually strong assets in line with the charity's brand guidelines. You will report to the Graphic Designer and help meet briefs and timelines while contributing to a range of projects across sport, education and inclusion.

The role is fixed term, 4 days per week, with a pro rata salary of £27,000 and strong emphasis on typography, layout and branding.

Role Summary: Reporting to the Graphic Designer, the Graphic Design Assistant will support the creation of a range of visually strong and engaging assets in line with the charity's brand guidelines, ensuring all briefs and timelines are met.

Knowledge, skills and experience - essential

• Proficiency in Design Software (Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong Visual Design Skills (typography, layout, and composition, Branding and identity design)
• Strong attention to Detail (ability to spot inconsistencies and ensure accurate and high‑quality designs)
• Excellent time Management and ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Knowledge, skills and experience - desirable

• Experience or ability to Interpret briefs (ability to interpret briefs and collaborate with cross-functional teams, clear articulation of design choices)
• Experience inn Photography & Photo Editing (basic photography manipulation skills and photo retouching)
• Strong organisation and file management (familiarity with version control and maintaining design libraries)
• Knowledge of and/or passion for football/sport.
