Job summary

Mirai Talent is seeking a Grant & Partnerships Manager to own the end-to-end grant funding process and develop strategic partnerships. You will work closely with the CTO and Co-Founder to shape opportunities, translate technical work into compelling funding propositions, and manage multi-stakeholder collaborations.

The role is remote-first with ~monthly London meet-ups, offering up to £85,000 plus equity and a high-ownership path in a pivotal growth phase for a technology start-up.

Qualifications

• Experience securing and managing grant funding.
• Ability to build relationships with government bodies and industry partners.
• Self-starter with strategic thinking in start-up environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end grant process from identification to submission and reporting.
• Write compelling, technically credible grant applications and proposals.
• Assess projects for fit with different funding opportunities and shape workstreams.
• Determine funding requests, project scope, milestones, and work packages.
• Manage grant reporting and milestone submissions with the technical team.
• Build relationships with public-sector bodies, government organisations, and other stakeholders in the UK and internationally.
• Develop partnerships across sectors including agriculture, water, satellite tech and environmental innovation.
• Identify potential project partners and secure commitments for collaborative funding.
• Collaborate with the CTO and Co-Founder to translate technical innovation into funding propositions.
• Create a scalable structure for grants and partnerships as the business grows.
