Job summary

Frontier Agriculture is seeking a Site Operative to join our Holme on Spalding Moor-based team on a fixed-term 12-month contract. You will handle day-to-day site operations, helping maintain high safety, quality and customer service standards within a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities include assisting site management with grain and rice storage operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures, and helping keep the site tidy and well-maintained while supporting seasonal

Qualifications

• Good communicator with the ability to consult with all team members and site management
• Able to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining Frontier’s ICE values
• Adapts quickly to changing business and customer needs with a responsive customer focus
• Works to accommodate the seasonal nature of Frontier’s business
• Adopts a customer first mindset while ensuring internal procedures are followed
• Works collaboratively and can also work independently without supervision
• Workshop/Mechanical skills (desirable)
• Loading shovel license (desirable)
• Tele-handler / FLT license (desirable)
• Training will be provided for the right candidate

Responsibilities

• Assisting Site Management with all aspects of Grain and Rice Storage Operations
• Assisting Site Management to comply with Health, Safety and Quality procedures including keeping records to ensure compliance
• Working to customer requirements regarding drying, cleaning and storage operations in order to produce desired levels of quality and service
• Ensuring general housekeeping and hygiene of the site is maintained
• Ensuring the stores, plant and equipment are maintained to a high standard
• Assisting within the grain testing lab/weighbridge
