Job summary

ONYX Insight is expanding its EU Field Engineering team and seeks a Graduate Engineer to support wind farm operations across onshore and offshore sites. The role focuses on asset condition assessments and installation of monitoring systems to improve turbine performance, reliability and safety. Travel across the EU is expected.

You will engage in RAMS preparation, work with subcontractors, and contribute to on-site engineering consulting while developing your career in renewable energy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering or a related field.
• HNC/HND or apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline accepted.
• Interest in renewable energy and wind turbine technology plus willingness to develop in the industry.
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles from studies, projects or placements.
• Strong communication to produce clear technical reports and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asset integrity inspections on offshore and European wind farms.
• Install hardware systems such as condition monitoring equipment on wind turbines.
• Manage sensor installation projects and prepare RAMS, coordinating subcontractors for project delivery.
• Support failure analysis and on-site field engineering projects.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality customer reports with clear communication.
